Day 2 FISHING THE ARCHIPELAGO
Full day sport fishing excursion in the archipelago with your expert fishing guide. Reel fishing gear, fishing licenses are included. Fishing for pike, perch and/or salmon trout in best available fishing grounds in the archipelago surrounding Mariehamn.
Åland is an island, completely surrounded by the sea in all directions and it has everything for keen fishermen - from open seas to calm bays and lakes. Pikes that lurk in the rushes, clever sea trout that bite only when the wind and water temperatures are right - they are all waiting for you! Our good contacts with fishing guides in Åland ensure that you will have the best hints of the best places and times to catch fish.
In March-April, when the ice has melted the sea trout are really eager to bite! Imagine the feeling when a silver-sided sea trout weighing 5-6 kilos swallows your spoon lure! Last year, the biggest trout were caught in the waters south-west of Eckerö and up to Marsund. Book a fishing package in the spring and maybe you will be lucky enough to catch a silver-sided torpedo!
