Railway connections to the East are excellent. The Finnish train Sibelius and the Russian train Repin leave Helsinki daily for Vyborg and St. Petersburg. The Tolstoi takes you to Moscow every night. Each train has a restaurant car. Border formalities are carried out on board the train.

Overview

Sibelius Line
Finnish train Sibelius is composed of InterCity coaches, offering you comfort, good service and relaxation - whether you choose to travel in the 1st class or the 2nd class. The passenger premises are spacious and cozy, and service is excellent. The train's 1st class coaches have 6 person compartments and an 11 person saloon compartment.

The restaurant-car invites you to enjoy a meal in the dining-room with a seating capacity of 38, or to have a snack in the coffee-shop section with seats for 5 persons and standing room for 10 persons.

Tolstoi Line
In the Russian Tolstoi you experience the atmosphere of Russia right from the start of the journey. A Russian coach attendant receives you at the coach door and is at your disposal during the journey.

Both Repin and Tolstoy have a cozy restaurant-car proposing food and drinks prepared in the Russian style. The restaurant-car bills shall be paid in the currency of the country where the train runs at the time of the payment.

Repin Line
In the Russian train Repin you experience the atmosphere of Russia right from the start of the journey. A Russian coach attendant receives you at the coach door and is at your disposal during the journey.
