Oslo / Bergen city sightseeing excursion

Day 1 DEPART THE U.S. This evening depart from the U.S. on your transatlantic flight. Sit back, relax and enjoy your flight bound for Oslo. (Not included in the vacation price. For air fare information, please contact us).

Day 2 ARRIVAL OSLO Independent arrival at Oslo Airport. Transfer by train to downtown Oslo. The rest of the day you're free to visit the city's world-class museums and shops.

Day 3 OSLO (B) Day at leisure to explore the great cultural sites, including the Munch and Viking Ships museums, using your Oslo Card, providing free admission to most sites and access to the local public transportation system.

Day 4 OSLO - MYRDAL - BERGEN (B, D) In the morning, travel to Bergen via the Bergen Railway, a spectacular ride through Norway's famous fjord country. This evening, transfer to the harbor to embark on your Norwegian Coastal Voyage.

Day 5 -14 NORWEGIAN COASTAL VOYAGE (B, L, D) Sail at a leisurely pace during this roundtrip journey along the Norwegian coast. From Bergen, you'll cross the Arctic Circle to Kirkenes, and back. Ports called upon during the night on the northbound sail will be visited during the day southbound. Highlights include: Ålesund's Art Nouveau architecture, the glorious Geiranger Fjord (April 15–September 14), ancient Trondheim, and the lively university town of Tromsø.

Day 15 DISEMBARKATION - BERGEN (B, L) Transfer to your hotel. You'll have the afternoon and evening free in Bergen.

Day 16 BERGEN (B) Day at leisure. Visit the colorful Fish and Flower Market, Bergenhus Castle and the Bergen Art Museum, with its splendid collections of Munch and Klee paintings. Take a stroll along the waterfront Bryggen, the colorful hanseatic trade houses. You can use your Bergen Card for free admission to many cultural attractions.

Day 17 DEPARTURE BERGEN (B) Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the U.S.
