Day 1 Arrival - Nupar Cottage Núpar cottages are within an easy reach of Iceland's nature highlights and important Saga sites. In winter enjoy sunshine, snow, Northern Lights and walks in the area or simply stay inside watching a winter storm gathering across the fields. These comfortable self catering cottages are warm and cozy Nordic style, tastefully furnished and fully equipped to be a home away from home. When arriving at Keflavik Airport your rental car awaits. Follow the main road towards Reykjavík and across Hellisheiði plateau to the greenhouse village Hveragerði. From there turn towards the sea (in direction to Þorlákshöfn) and you will find the cottages nesting about 3 km down the road. However to pick up the keys for your cottage drive 4 km further to the service centre at Hotel Hlíð.
Day 2 Leisure Days Spend the next couple of days visiting the beautiful countryside with its multitude of nature wonders or enjoy a peaceful stay in the cottage with your family or friends. At the end of your stay, drive back to the airport where you will return the car.
