Day 1 REYKJAVIK - HVERAGERDI When arriving at Keflavik Airport your rental car awaits. Follow the main road towards Reykjavík city and athen cross Hellisheiði plateau to the greenhouse village of Hveragerði, and from there onwards to your selected hotel.
Day 2 BLACK BEACH & WATERFALLS (B) Drive along the scenic south shore, viewing various beautiful waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss along the way. The Skógar Folk Museum is not to be missed. Visit the impressive black beaches below Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the charming village of Vík. End the day dining in gourmet style and relaxing with some champagne in front of the fireplace (Selfoss Hotel) or in the outdoor hot tub watching the Northern Lights (Rangá Hotel).

Day 3 GULLFOSS - GEYSIR - ÞINGVELLIR (B) Spend the day visiting the best known nature sites in Iceland, the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring area. Drive to Þingvellir National Park, former site of the Icelandic parliament. The park itself is situated in a stunning volcanic landscape of mountains and lava flows. Head to Reykjavík in the afternoon. The Blue Lagoon, famous for its unique bathing and healing powers, has an otherworldly setting where lava and thermal water complement each other. Between late autumn and early spring the northern lights are often seen dancing in the sky. Note: It is a good idea to end the tour by driving to the famous Blue Lagoon before heading to Reykjavík. Optional (at extra cost) to have a luxurious massage in the lagoon itself.
Day 4 DEPARTURE (B) Drive back to Keflavik International Airport where you will return the car.
