Day 1 ARRIVAL REYKJAVIK Upon arrival get yourself comfortable for the next three-day stay. Enjoy the hotel's spa facilities to rejuvenate after your trip.

Day 2 BLUE LAGOON (B) Today you will pick up your rental car and drive to the Blue Lagoon located in the middle of a lava field with thermal water renowned for its healing powers. A dip in the Blue Lagoon will ease your spirit and provide complete relaxation. Afterwards you can enjoy the excellent facilities and spectacular surroundings before returning to Reykjavik. You have the afternoon at leisure.

In the evening we suggest an evening tour (optional at extra cost) away from the city's bright lights, to hunt for the natural wonders of the Northern Lights. These are often seen dancing around in fantastic colors across the Arctic sky.

Day 3 COUNTRYSIDE (B) Visit an area of your interest:

Suggestion 1
Visit Gullfoss waterfall, the famous Geysir geothermal area and the UNESCO site of Thingvellir National Park, which is also the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament.

Suggestion 2
Visit the south shore with sparkling waterfalls and black sand beaches. Surrounding areas of the 2010 volcanic eruption.

Suggestion 3
Visit Borgarfjördur, an area with strong ties to the Icelandic Sagas, Reykholt, home of Snorri Sturluson. See Europe's largest hot spring and picturesque waterfalls. Return to your hotel in the afternoon and relax in the spa.

Day 4 DEPARTURE REYKJAVIK (B) If your flight is in the afternoon you can use the morning and have a look at the many Reykjavik museums or shop for for quality Icelandic products to take home.
