Day 2 Wed BERGEN (B) After breakfast, your morning is at leisure. Meet your tour escort between 14:00 - 14:30, to meet your tour escort and receive information on the upcoming tour program. Afternoon departure by private coach and local English-speaking guide for a 3-hour city sightseeing tour, including a pleasant walk through Bryggen, the colorful Hanseatic trade quarters, St. Mary's Church, the bustling Fish and Flower Markets and Haakon's Hall. Tour ends at your hotel. Evening is at leisure.

Day 3 Thu BERGEN - FLÅM - BALESTRAND (B, D) After breakfast a departure from Bergen and travel to the historic town of Voss, where we board a train across the mountain plateau to Myrdal, for a change to the World famous Flam Railway. Experience one of the most spectacular rail journeys, descending down from the Mountain station of Myrdal to the quaint fjord village of Flam. Enjoy some free time before embarking the ferry for a cruise on the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. Disembarkation in Balestrand and arrival at the Kvikne's Hotel, dating back to 1850 and nestled on the shore of the Sognefjord. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 4 Fri BALESTRAND - BRIKSDAL GLACIER - LOEN (B, D) Breakfast at our hotel. Depart by coach to Dragsvik, cross the beautiful Sognefjord once again, before disembarking in Hella. Continue driving via Sogndal, through several picturesque villages and forests to Skei, located at the foot of Europe's biggest mainland glacier named “Jostedalsbreen”. After a short break we continue our journey to Loen and the Briksdal Glacier. Here we board small motorized Troll cars to the tip of the glacier and experience the breathtaking blue ice. Return to Loen late afternoon. Spend two nights in the wonderful surroundings of mountains and fjords. Dinner at your hotel.

Day 5 Sat LOEN - GEIRANGER - LOEN (B, L, D) After breakfast departure by coach, via Hellasylt where we will take the ferry, crossing the dramatic Geiranger Fjord, listed on the UNESCO's World Heritage list. Disembark in the fjord village of Geiranger and enjoy a 3-course lunch at the fabulous Hotel Union, with incredible views of the fjord. After lunch we board the coach for an excursion to the Dalsnibba viewpoint, 1500 meters above sea level, overlooking the village and fjord. Return to Loen for dinner at your hotel.

Day 6 Sun LOEN - OSLO (B) Early morning departure by coach to the capital Oslo. Travel via Lom, where we can admire the oldest wooden church in Norway, dating from the 12th Century. Continue via Otta, leaving the fjord area of Central Norway, characterized by mountains, fjords and lakes, to Oslo. Late in the afternoon arrival in Oslo and check-in to our hotel.

Day 7 Mon OSLO (B) After breakfast, enjoy a 3-hour city sightseeing tour of Oslo. Visit the Holmenkollen Ski Jump with magnificent views over the city and Oslo Fjord. Other highlights are the Viking Ship Museum, the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace and the Karl Johan Boulevard. The tour ends at the hotel; time to explore more of the Viking capital on your own.
