Day 1 ARRIVAL REYKJAVIK Arrival and overnight in Reykjavik (transfer from international airport not included).
Day 2 HVALFJÖRDUR - SNÆFELLSJÖKULL GLACIER (B) Picturesque Fjords - Craters - Volcanic Landscapes - Snæfellsnes Glacier
Travel via Hvalfjördur fjord to the agricultural region of Borgarfjördur. You will drive past the magnificent Eldborg crater on route to Snæfellsnes peninsula where the mysterious Snæfellsjökull glacier towers over the surrounding area.

Day 3 SNAEFELLSNES PENINSULA (B) Sea Cliffs with Birdlife - Rock Formations - Quaint Fishing Villages
Explore the countless natural wonders of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Visit Arnarstapi sea cliffs with its varied birdlife and the rocky beach of Djupalonssandur before driving along the north coast through lively fishing villages.

Day 4 REYKHOLT - HRAUNFOSSAR - THINGVELLIR NATIONAL PARK (B) Visit the historic site of Reykholt, the remarkably beautiful Hraunfoss and Barnafoss waterfalls and Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot spring in Europe. Continue to Thingvellir National Park, site of the ancient Icelandic parliament and a jewel of nature (4WD needed for Kaldidalur valley). End the day with a visit to the famous Geysir hot-spring area and the massive Gullfoss waterfall.

Day 5 SOUTH SHORE - SKOGAFOSS - MYRDALSJÖKULL GLACIER (B) Myrdalsjökull Glacier - Sea Cliffs with Puffin Colony - Black Sand Beaches of the South Shore
Discover the south shore, viewing the spectacular Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, Myrdalsjökull glacier and the black sand beaches around Vík. Visit Dyrholaey* headland where thousands of puffins nest every summer. Return to Reykjavik.

Day 6 REYKJANES PENINSULA - BLUE LAGOON (B) Volcanic Landscapes - Bubbling Mud Pools - Quaint Fishing Village - Geothermal Spa
Drive to Reykjanes peninsula and visit the moon like surrounding of Lake Kleifarvatn and Krysuvík geothermal area with bubbling mud pools. Visit Grindavík fishing village and the famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing dip in the pleasantly warm geothermal waters, rich in silica and minerals that are great for the skin.
