Deadline for New Years Program is 6 weeks, in case of cancellation after the deadline, the charges are 100% of the total price. We highly recommend to purchase travel insurance (in case of sickness etc.) to avoid any unpleasant surprises concerning the payment.

Hotel Kakslauttanen comprises 33 first-class log cabins with shower, toilet and kitchen. All of the cabins have fire places and own saunas. In the vicinity of the cabins, there is also Log restaurant and two Lapp teepees
serving as restaurants.

Day 1 NEW YEARS EVE CELEBRATION After normal day program our special New Year's Eve dinner buffet will be served in our log restaurant at 20.00. The menu includes various Finnish and Lappish delicacies. Festive dressing is desirable for the dinner to celebrate and greet the New Year 2008. Please take also warm thermal clothes with you because the midnight's program is partly outside. Traditional New Year's charms' casting after the dinner. Your future and the events of the starting New Year are foretold to You personally from the shapes taken by melted tin. Around 23:30 we adjourn to Igloo Village about 200 meters from the restaurant. For a festive end to the old year, the fireworks will lighten the dark skies of Lapland. To greet the New Year, we will toast in the Ice Gallery with champagne*. After this cheerful event we go back to the warm restaurant to enjoy more drinks and a good company of friends in front of an open fire. In the small hours a plateau of cheese will be served.
