Day 1 BERGEN Individual arrival in Bergen. Transfer on own (not included) to your hotel.
Bergen was one of the major hanseatic cities in Europe and it has been a great centre of trade throughout the ages. Fish was exported from Bergen, while grain was the main import. The first German merchants came to the city already in 1270, and the powerful Hanseatic League existed until 1784, when it was disbanded. The Hanseatic merchants operated in the Bryggen area, which is now included on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Day 2 BERGEN - HURTIGRUTEN (B, L, D) After breakfast, meet at Dreggekaien, the pier just opposite your hotel.
We sail from Bergen at 9:00 am and head northwards. The stretch of coast between Bergen and the Sognefjord consists of thousands of large and small islands and is in many people's opinion Norway's most beautiful coastal archipelago. Tour the island of Utvaer, a small island where the fjord meats the Norwegian Sea. Enjoy a walking tour and visit the lighthouse and have lunch. Continue to Finnafjord, and stop for the night at the small settlement only accessible by boat.
Day 3 FINDEBOTTEN - FJÆRLAND - BALESTRAND - BERGEN (B, L) Cruise through the Fjærlandsfjord towards Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier in Europe. Visit the glacier and Fjærland before returning to Balestrand. With the arrival in Balestrand the cruise on "MS Tollesund" ends. Continue on your own by express boat with the cruise through the Sognefjord ending in Bergen at 8:40 pm (return cruise included).
