St. Petersburg, Riga & Tallinn 2010
6 days / 5 nights, Helsinki - St. Petersburg - Riga - Tallinn - Helsinki
| St. Petersburg, the "Venice of the North". St. Petersburg has been a source of inspiration to generations of artists. A museum in its own right, this lovely city boasts of the world's greatest museum collections, making it a superb destination for art-lovers.
Riga, the "Paris of the Baltics". The capital of Latvia, a major industrial, commercial, cultural and financial centre of the Baltics, and an important seaport, is beautifully situated on the mouth of the River Daugava. With nearly one million inhabitants it is the largest city of the Baltic states.
Hanseatic Tallinn, historic Old Town. The strategic location between East and West has forced the Estonians to survive under the regime of many foreign rulers. The domes of the Orthodox churches, the Swedish names of villages and towns, the German manor houses and the Danish castles – the many traces of various conquerors make the culture of Estonia most unique.
