On our adventure through Swedish Lapland spend your evenings in old fashion timber cottages with good company. Experience reindeer and the "king of the forest" the moose. Enjoy optional activities like Ice fishing, Cross country skiing or a day visit to the famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi.

| Please Note | Group size: min 4 persons, max 6 persons Minimum age 18 years Occasionally weather conditions may be unsuitable or other circumstances may cause changes to the itinerary. We reserve the right to change the program if required. Although we provide all guests with high quality extreme weather clothing for the duration of their visit, we must point out that this is the Arctic and we strongly recommend that you travel in warm clothing; waterproof footwear, wear hats and gloves. Additional personal clothing should include thermal under garments, wool and/or thermal socks and additional layers of lightweight clothing such as wool and thermal vests. Temperatures really can be quite extreme and it is much more enjoyable when you are warm! |
Day 1 ARRIVAL KIRUNA OR KITTILÄ (L, D) Your host will pick you up and take you to Kangos guesthouse. After settling down you will visit the husky camp for tour briefing. Afterwards you will head back to the guesthouse for dinner. Overnight in Guesthouse.
Day 2 HUSKY MUSHING (B, L, D) After breakfast your guide will pick you up and drive you to the husky kennel. First we will pack the sleds and then harness the dogs. Before we start the journey you will get instructions from the guide how to mush and take care of your own team. Lunch will be served outside and before nightfall we arrive at the timber cottage where we spend the night. Overnight in Wilderness cottage. (20-60 km)
Day 3 - 4 MUSHING (B, L, D) You will travel through beautiful forests, along mighty rivers and frozen lakes. You will feed and take care of your own team of dogs. Together we cook our meals. We'll prepare breakfast and dinner in the cottage's and lunch will be held outside. (20-60 km)

Day 5 MUSHING (B, L, D) After breakfast for us and the dogs the journey back to reality starts. We will reach the husky kennel sometime in the middle of the day and before we go back to the guesthouse we will feed and take care of the dogs. When we arrive to the guesthouse you can enjoy hot tub and sauna under the arctic sky. We end the evening with a three course dinner served by your hosts. (10-30 km)
Day 6 OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES DAY (B, L, D) Breakfast will be served and after that you could choose to go for a cross country tour or try out the snowshoes. Or why not go for a speedy snow machine tour in the Arctic. Why not try the ice fishing? Lunch will be served in the guesthouse or you will get a pack lunch with you on your activity. Dinner will be served in the evening at the guesthouse.
Day 7 REINDEER FARM - MOOSE FARM (B, L, D) You will start the day with a snowshoe walk to a local reindeer farm where you meet the reindeers and the local Sami people. We enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the forest. After a short walk back to the nearest road the guide will drive you to a moose farm. Here you will meet this amazing animals and even get the opportunity to touch them. The local guide will tell us stories and give us information about the King of the forest while we eat lunch. The day ends with a last dinner together at the Guesthouse.
Day 8 DEPARTURE (B) Breakfast and then transfer back to airport.
